The professional, digitally controlled MIG Welding Machine PATON™ ProMIG-500-WK-15-4, equipped with a dedicated trolley and cooling system, combines versatility with high energy efficiency. It supports SMAW (covered electrode), GMAW (MIG/MAG), FCAW (with or without shielding gas) and GTAW LIFT (TIG). With a welding current range from 16 to 500 A, one can fine-tune parameters for various materials and thicknesses, whether in the workshop or on-site. The ProMIG-500-WK-15-4 model accommodates covered electrodes (1.6–8.0 mm), welding wires (0.6–1.6 mm) and tungsten electrodes (1.0–5.0 mm), making it ideal for serial production and steel construction in heavy industry.

A robust four-roller wire feeding system with full drive, compatible with spools of 5, 15 or 18 kg, ensures stable and accurate wire feeding – even with soft aluminium, crucial for welding this metal. Fitted with wheels for ease of mobility, it can also connect to a communication cable up to 30 metres, enhancing flexibility in large industrial settings or construction sites. Quick polarity switching (DCEP/DCEN) enables rapid adaptation to different welding processes, while the EURO connector allows easy torch replacement. The modular design enhances safety and user comfort.

Liquid cooling systems, such as PATON Cooler 7, are vital for welding currents above 300 A, effectively cooling key torch components (handle, head, power cable) depending on the equipment’s design. The machine is also engineered to work seamlessly with generators and long extension leads, maintaining full performance and reliability in demanding environments. Advanced digital controls permit precise adjustment of welding voltage, shielding gas flow time, and wire feed speed, adapting the machine to various materials and job requirements.
