Welding Cooler PATON™ Cooler–7

The PATON Cooler 7 is a cooling unit designed for efficient heat dissipation and effective cooling of MIG/MAG welding torches using coolant. Cooler 7 stands out with its large capacity – up to 7 liters of coolant – and high performance, offering liquid flow up to 10 meters in height and a flow rate of 6,5 l/min.

Liquid-cooled systems like the PATON Cooler 7 are essential for welding processes requiring high currents (above 300 A). They ensure efficient cooling of key torch components, such as the handle, torch head, or current cable, depending on the design.

The use of water is not recommended, as salts present in the water can deposit on internal walls, forming an insulating layer. This reduces cooling efficiency, decreases liquid flow over time, and can lead to MIG/MAG torch failure.

It is recommended to use specific cooling liquids for welding equipment, such as BT-50, produced by the German company ABICOR BINZEL. These liquids provide high thermal conductivity and lubricating properties for pumps in cooling systems.
